When a fire ignites, it spreads by air movement between rooms, through unsealed penetrations in the walls and lumber. Building codes require the use of a draft stopping sealant in these spots, to reduce the potential spread of fire and help isolate flames to a single room.

Engineered to seal with a single application, without melting or shrinking, Fire Block 113 is designed to work well in high temp, low humidity climates, requiring the orange color for easy identification by inspectors.

With application temperatures as high as 113°, you get exceptional draft sealing, even in extreme conditions, so you don’t have to cut your workday short when the temperatures get too high.

When used properly, it can provide measurable improvement to blower door test results for air exchanges per hour.
